Epimediums
Description – This is a cross between E. alpinum with E. pinnatum subs. colchicum , which was first discovered growing in the garden of Warley Place, belonging to Miss Ellen Willmott. This newer form named after this famous Essex garden owner, is much deeper in its orange colouring. The other characteristics of the plant are much the same as the original cross. However, this variety may be slightly larger growing and in leaflet size. We haven’t had it long enough to fully appraise compared with the type clone.
