Distribution – China, Sichuan province
Description – A small /medium sized semi-evergreen to evergreen species related to E. davidii , fangii, hunanense and ilicifolium etc.. The leaves are ovate with well spaced spiny margins. It is fairly similar to E. davidii but in our examples, has slightly larger flowers.
It has been reasonably easy to establish but not vigorous. When established it can carry a good few flowers over several weeks.
