Distribution – China, in the borderland of Sikang and Western Sichuan provinces around Kangding .
Description - This is one of a very few known deciduous species from China. It grows to around 60cm tall and carries good sized bright yellow flowers.
It is described as have a long wandering rhizome type of rootstock, but as yet our potted specimen has not shown this characteristic. With us it seems a little reluctant to get going, but one lives in hope.
