Distribution – China
Description – A medium sized evergreen species related to E. fargesii with similar white Dodecatheon like flowers. The leaves are broader than those of E. fargesii and have spined margins. The undersides of the leaves are felted with fine hairs. This was introduced from China by American plant collector and Epimedium expert, Darrell Probst.
We haven’t had it long enough to assess it as a garden plant.
