Epimediums

Description –   We purchased this plant at Beeches Nursery a few years ago. Sadly it didn’t get off to a good start having been attacked by vine weevil grubs. We have patiently cared for it to the point it flowered in its pot last spring (2015). It seems very close to E. chlorandrum with its yellow flowers and colourful young leaves. In the latter respect it may be superior to the species clones we have. Hopefully it will eventually make a medium sized evergreen plant of considerable beauty.
